Education and Early Career
Dr. Caligiuri earned his PhD in Chemical, Physical, and Materials Science from the University of Calabria in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Antonio De Luca. Prior to this, he completed his Master’s in Electronic Engineering at the same institution in 2013.
Current Positions and Affiliations
From 2022 to 2024, Dr. Caligiuri is serving as a Time Determined Researcher type A (RTDA) at the Department of Physics, University of Calabria. He is also affiliated with the CNR Nanotec institute in Rende and the Optoelectronics group at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genova.
Research Fellowships and International Collaborations
Dr. Caligiuri has held various research fellowships, including positions at the Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale per la Scienza e Tecnologia dei Materiali and the Italian Institute of Technology. His international experience includes prestigious fellowships at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory in the USA, Case Western Reserve University, and Denmark Technical University.
